In individual therapy sessions, we will work together to develop a custom treatment plan that is solution focused and based on your specific goals, needs, and values. You will be empowered with tools and support to explore what is bringing you to therapy at this time and heal negative patterns.

I believe that YOU are the expert on your life and we will work collaboratively to meet your goals in therapy. Together, we will notice feelings, identify needs, and explore ways to stay connected to the present.

My hope is that I create a space where individuals feel seen, validated, guided, and respected.

My approach is "client-centered", which means that we start where you are and with what you want to work on.  My work tends to focus with what is going on in the present and to help individuals understand patterns or challenges that are occurring.  At times, this can mean examining how things in our past are impacting our thoughts, feelings, or behaviors in the present.  I follow a holistic approach and utilize elements of somatic therapy, self-compassion, mindfulness, inner child work, parts work, and breathwork.​

Specialty areas include: anxiety/stress management, attachment injuries (early childhood wounding), body image, boundaries, burnout/overwhelm, healing from emotionally immature parents, life transitions, loneliness, parenting support, exploring relationship patterns, recovery from relational trauma, self-care and self-compassion.

JoyLab Counseling & Wellness specializes in women's wellness, providing a safe and supportive space for women to address their physical, emotional, and mental health concerns.  Together we will work to navigate life transitions, challenge beliefs that may no longer serve us, and integrate ALL PARTS of ourselves.

Anxiety is everywhere we look these days!  Together, we will work  to help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress, improve coping skills, and enhance overall well-being.  The goal at JoyLab is to empower individuals to effectively cope with and reduce their symptoms, improve their quality of life, and cultivate greater resilience in the face of life's challenges. 

Healing the Mother Wound

"Healing the Mother Wound" is a term often to describe the emotional, psychological, and sometimes spiritual issues that arise from a strained or dysfunctional relationship between a person and their mother. Together, we will create a safe and supportive environment  to explore experiences, express  emotions, and develop healthier ways of relating to self and others.

I am currently accepting insurance and private pay clients. 

The cost for a private pay session is $120. ​
